This significant investment was facilitated through a third-party allotment, showcasing strong confidence in the company's innovative technology and future prospects.
Leading the funding round was MUFG Bank, accompanied by notable investments from major players such as Suzuki Motor, East Japan Railway Company (JR East), and Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). The participation of these established firms underscores the growing interest in eVTOL technology and its potential impact on transportation.
Returning investors also contributed to this funding round, including ITOCHU Technology Ventures, Obayashi, The Kansai Electric Power Company, and others. This influx of capital is expected to accelerate SkyDrive's development efforts in the eVTOL space, positioning the company for future growth as urban air mobility gains traction globally.
