Shuttle Technology and Integration Expertise

Shuttle Technology and Integration Expertise

Jungheinrich has been named the preferred integration partner for Movu Robotics, a move that strengthens the existing relationship between the German intralogistics giant and the Belgian automation specialist. Under the new agreement, Jungheinrich will take the lead on system integration for Movu's range of robotic warehouse solutions, including the popular Movu Atlas, a compact shuttle system, and the Movu Eligo, a pallet-handling robot.

The deal means customers looking to deploy Movu's technology will now have a direct route through Jungheinrich's global sales and service network. That is a significant step for Movu, which has been growing quickly but needs strong local support to handle complex installations and ongoing maintenance. For Jungheinrich, the partnership adds a proven, modular automation portfolio to its own offerings without the need to develop everything in-house.

Both companies say the focus is on making automation easier to adopt for mid-sized and large warehouses. Movu's systems are designed to work with standard racking and existing warehouse layouts, which cuts down on the cost and disruption of a full rebuild. Jungheinrich's integration expertise will help tailor those systems to specific customer workflows, from order picking to buffer storage.

The move also signals a broader trend in the material handling industry, where traditional forklift manufacturers are increasingly pairing with agile robotics startups rather than building all technology from scratch. Jungheinrich already has its own automation line, but adding Movu's shuttles and pallet movers fills a gap for high-density storage and flexible goods-to-person workflows.

No financial details were shared, and the companies did not specify which regions will see the first joint projects. However, both said that existing customer pilots are already in progress, with full commercial rollout expected over the coming months. The partnership is non-exclusive, meaning Movu can still work with other integrators, but Jungheinrich will be the go-to partner for large-scale deployments.
