But enforcing these rules is a whole other beast. How do you regulate machines that learn and evolve? Who audits the decision-making logic of an autonomous vehicle?
Governments face a daunting challenge: creating laws that ensure public safety without stalling innovation.
But here’s the catch: humans are flawed. Our biases, whether conscious or unconscious, seep into the AI we create. If an autonomous system is trained on biased data, it might unintentionally favor certain decisions over others.
In the end, AI can be programmed to mimic ethical behavior, but true morality? That remains uniquely human.
